What is this place?

Suntec City is Singapore’s largest integrated commercial development and is the biggest monument to Feng Shui in Singapore.

Designed as a city within a city, Suntec City is a brilliant architectural manifestation of a ‘left-hand’ structure, fused with modern concepts and geomancy elements. Anchored by a world class convention centre that forms the wrist of the left hand, its five office buildings represent its fingers and thumb while the world's largest fountain, the Fountain of Wealth, stands majestically at the palm of the hand, symbolising the Chinese saying “to hold the wealth of the world in one’s hand.”

Singapore is a food paradise and it is no wonder why everyone comes to Suntec City Mall for more than just a good shopping feast. The Fountain Terrace and Sky Garden house more than 50 food and beverage outlets, showcasing a tantalising spread of international food fare. From local and Asian food to Middle Eastern and Swiss dining, Suntec City Mall satisfies the most discerning taste buds.

For a spectacular dining ambience amidst cascading waters from the Fountain of Wealth, a visit to The Fountain Terrace is a must where one gets to choose from a myriad of food courts, fast food outlets, cafes and restaurants offering the most delectable of cuisines.

Stretching a kilometre across its five office towers, Suntec City Mall is a major shopping hub with more 350 retail outlets and 70 food and beverage establishments, including Singapore’s largest hypermarket, Carrefour.

And with more than 200 events held annually, visitors can look forward to a one-stop integrated shopping and dining experience like no other.

  1. I think this is Shopping Tourism due to the many retail shops that are located within Suntec City Mall and because it's called a 'Mall'! It is also a form of Heritage tourism as there are services such as the hippotour and the ducktour which offers tours around singapore to teach the tourists more about Singapore.
